Learning how to run "proper".

Check out the photo of Rita and I finishing the Doncaster 10 k I am wearing my new posers running shoes. With a drop of only 6mm they re-educate you instantly. If you don't run proper it's like you are running with table tennis bats on your feet. You go flap flap flap. but rise up and run proper on the balls of your feet. and its as if "by magic" you are alive and running on air. Give it a try.

I have to agree with you on the trainers. I had some thicker soled ones. They weren't very thick...pretty average really I guess. But when I changed to Nike Flex I instantly ran better and now spring off the balls of my feet, instead of heel striking which gave me terrible knee pain.

I mix my shoes up so i’m Running in different size heel offsets. 10mm one day and a flatter 4mm the next. My Achilles tenD to protest if i’m always on the flat. 🙂
