Focusing on the Core - "Stick with it. Even though it seems hard now, one day it will be your warm up!"

Having avoided thinking about my "core" for a good 48 years I volunteered to find something inspirational to keep us all on the "Core" journey that Realfoodieclub is taking us on.

So if your struggling to keep working on your core and keep on finding an excuse not too, remember the journey we've all been on through C25K and are going on the journey to 10k, and look back and realise that we've come a long way, and the only thing stopping you going further is not trying to.

Now - can't stop - got to go and do some reps (some isn't a lot - but it's more than it was last week!)

Good Luck!

Great post, thank you. So very true, if you had told me ten years ago what I would be up to now, I wouldn’t of believed you 😀.

Rfc if you'd told me 6 months ago I would be doing what I'm doing now I wouldn't have believed you.

Stick with it is what it's all about whether it's running or core exercises or any other activity. Good message and a good reminder. Thanks for posting 🙂

No worries - we're all in this together, one rep at a time.

I'm using it - so I can find it again to be fair - hoping once located to keep a hold of it.

It's the foundation on which my keg of beer (better than a 6 pack) is built.

Yes, it's all keeping me at it.

one day at a time, one plank or sit-up more than last time.

Found a new Core exercise today - this might be a bit niche - but if you have the opportunity try filling 6 haylage nets with haylage for a hungry pony. Lots of twisting - using my obliques, strength in the shoulders, and bending. It''s a bugger to be fair - so I'd only do it if you have to. ;^)
