Good evening JaoJao, as I said earlier I am also planning to run a 10K soon, I have studied the Ju Ju Magic running plan, I admit I have not 100% followed the exact way the program is devised but I would say that I am not too far off it.
I do exercises apart from running most days, planks I notice are in the plan, I do a full 3 minute elbow plank on a Saturday and Monday morning, the Tom Holland 3 minute perfect plank workout video on a Tuesday and Friday morning, on a Wednesday morning I do a 7 minute plank challenge, it actually is 8 minutes with 3/15 second breaks between the planks, all those plank exercises I do before breakfast.
I run one 5K a week, usually a parkrun, I now have ran 4, also the longer midweek run as I say is getting longer by 1K a week, so although not the Ju Ju plan the way I have done mine isn't too far off it, last Wednesday as I told you I did ran an 8K in just over 60 minutes, this Wednesday I will attempt to run 9K in around 68 minutes.
Me too, I'm excited to be starting this plan, and Week 1 is going ok so far. Thanks roseabi for your great organisational skills. Also, thanks to ju-ju- - it was nice to see her video on 'plankety-planks' - that word made me smile.
Yes, thanks from me too. It’s motivated me to keep on. I’ve just done my ‘long’ run tonight . I was dreading it but am pleased to say I enjoyed it - nice to run without being bothered about times - just park run on Saturday to go and then I get a treat.
It was supposed to be a bacon butty and tea in the cafe after parkrun with the other runners instead of my usual straight home to cook breakfast for my family BUT I forgot to take any cash. So my treat is now shutting myself in my room and watching a Rom Com on Netflix. My Netflix viewing is usually Disney so it will be a treat to chose and watch a film by myself.
