Previously I posted in a reply that I intended to compete in a duathalon. Well I have bought a new mountain bike. The running bit I can handle but the bike is proving a bit scary !!!. I can't go on the road as I wobble and cant give hand signals. (I need 2 hands on the bars) . Luckily the duathalon at Sherwood Pines is all off road. It's going to be fun learning to ride again.
Never believe them when they say ...,. " It's a bit like riding a bike ....you never forget," With PD all sence of balance goes "out the window".

Mike, easier said than done I suppose but try and relax more on the bars.. I'm really impressed, you back on a bike at 76.. my brother in-law goes out with 7 of his mates on a cycle run every week, he's 70 some are older well up in the 70s, they call themselves the wild bunch!😁so no age a barrier is it!
My Dad has just bought a bike at the age of 82. He hasn't ridden since he was in his 50s but he's gradually getting more steady and less wobbly. I had to learn to do the balance thing after having inner ear damage and loosing all balance. I couldn't walk back then, but gradually I've retrained my brain and learnt to run and learnt how to ride my bike again, so I'm sure you can do this.
I like the idea of a duathalon and may look out for one in my area.
The times are coming down. Practice yesterday saw the 20 k bike ride (all off road) completed in 1.32.37 hrs followed by 3k run in 28.23 mins (Tom Tom time). Just needs a pre bike time (for 5k ) of sub 35 mins to make me happy.
