I am going to have this photo printed at an enlarged size and frame it. Although I have intentions to continue running ( if this damned metatarsal fracture ever heals enough to allow me!) , if it doesn't work out I will have this photo and my 7 medals ( 4x10K and 3xHM) plus my 100 runs parkrun shirt for ever. I like this photo because it makes me look like I am travelling well, my female parkrun friend is having lots of fun and the two young ones seem to be struggling a bit I have only recently realised that while we were running the HM, these two were doing the 10K ( which both started combined) . I managed to walk parkrun in just under an hour today with almost no pain (although it is lurking) , only the second time I have managed that in the past nearly 4 months.
My favourite running photo.: I am going to... - Bridge to 10K
My favourite running photo.
A great photo for all the reasons you say, Bazza1234 ! Hope you're 100% running fit soon but whatever happens, nothing can take away all you have achieved. You continue to be an inspiration to us all.
There's a man leading the way, with an easy stride and relaxed running style. Great image, Bazza.
It must be so frustrating after all the work you've put into your running, to now be unable to continue. The memories and achievements remain.
Wishing you all the best for a recovery to full running form.
Great pic Baz . You look ultra cool there
I sincerely hope you can get back to running. I am optimistic for you 💪👍🙂
Great picture and a lovely relaxed posture. One to treasure there. I am sure you will be back out running again soon.
A terrific photograph! One for the wall! Glad you are getting back onto it
Great photo Bazza. You are looking strong and relaxed 👍
I didn't know that Bazza1234 was a pseudonym for Richard Dreyfus!
Fabulous photo, one to treasure indeed. I fervently hope you will have future photo opps but this is a good 'un.
That is a super photo! You look strong but relaxed, the picture of a proper runner
