Mid-winter --- 31C

The Queensland Police Force has opened an investigation into the disappearance of winter. Today 17-August is supposed to be midwinter and which traditionally causes Queenslanders to pull out their jumpers and put some shoes on. However, something has happened and the forecast temperature today is 31C. Probably just as well I am not running at the moment - however I did build up a bit of a sweat in the gym yesterday. Taking it easy as this head cold which got to my chest is hanging around.

So no winter at all in Oz this year? How hot is the summer going to be if you get temperatures like that mid-winter? Glad you're enjoying the gymn - and hope that cold disappears properly soon!

Depends on where and when. We were camping only a week ago in below zero temperatures overnight.

We had 33 today and should get 34 tomorrow. Dry heat is ok but early morning was muggy a couple of times when the haze came in from the water. No good running with glasses. Can't see a thing....😎🤓 and brown snakes are out all year around 😱

What does anyone do when glasses are fogging up?

Well, my wife laughs when mine fog up!😂 genrally I just take them off and clean them, I haven't had that problem when running in UK though.. luckily don't get brown snakes here, saw a giant elephant hawk moth catapillar the other day though...no danger with him!😊
