Lovely 5k yesterday morning, on what is my local Parkrun course (photos were actually taken last week on a walk). I haven’t run this route in a while and I did enjoy it, although the grass is pretty energy sapping to run on, as is the hill ( which feels a lot harder than it look in this photo!🤣). I just took my time and plodded on - the temperature has been much better for running in recently!🙂
I wore my old Hoka’s 👟 for this run - still haven’t run in my new ones yet but will report back on them when I do.
Happy runnning everyone and if you’re stuck on the i/c, I hope that you’re back out there soon.🙂

I hate hills (or slopes as some call them!). That grassy hill looks a challenge. We have one at our parkrun - not steep but feels endless and it’s beside a field so tractor tracks. When it’s been wet 😱😱😱😱. Then there’s a tractor crossroads just as it levels off - fair to say it’s not a pb track. Love it or hate it. 🤣 Great that you’re going back for more!
It’s Cranleigh in Surrey. Yes, it’s lovely all the way round - finishes on a football field but is off road all the way round. Boggy in some areas when wet but of course that adds to the fun! I have never been to run it on a proper Parkrun day but my OH does and volunteers too. Averages just under 100 people I think. 🙂
