Anyone got one of these or experience of them. I love techie things and wondered if it would inspire me to keep going....? Today I chickened out of running as it was so windy and showery but tomorrow will be a run day for sure.

Yes, I got myself one 3 months ago. I love it! It does everything I want it to do plus a few things I haven't worked out yet. Works reliably, finds the GPS signal really quickly and is really easy to use.

I've now ordered one from Amazon and delivery is tomorrow so can't wait to give it a try on a 5k 'race' on Sunday 😄

I hate tech. Gets on my absolute wick but I have the most basic Garmin which does me fine 🙂

I love my 235. Great for estimated finish time when I ran my 10k the other day.

I've been running with a FR235 for 20 months. I love it and the data that is provides. I'm not fast, run 10km, parkrun, around my village and always take my running kit when I travel for work.

How are you getting on with it?

I really like it. Took a while to set up and understand but some good you tube clips helped. Have set the 'other' option for my long walks and like it tracking the walk on GPS. Saves draining my phone battery doing the same thing. Really pleased with the running stats. Told me I did my best mileage this morning. 😁

Is the Garmin 235 still the "go to" running watch for value for money etc? I'm getting fed up of carrying my phone with me (and I don't listen to music) but want to still record how far I've run for Strava upload. I assume the Garmin will sync with a Garmin phone app when data needs to be captured? What have users found to be good/bad about the 235? Any feedback would be most appreciated. The price seems to have dropped a lot recently...
