My wife just gave me this last night !. An early birthday present she said!😳.
The instructions are sparse to say the least but this is amazing. Got the basics set up and have my first park run tomorrow!.
Anyone know how to work this?. Is there an app to pair it to my phone ?. Is there a garmin site this connects to so I can see where I’ve run on a map ect??.
I have the same from the amazon sale. It’s the same as the 225. I sync mine with Strava which I think is best. Fiddle with the buttons it’s so easy to use...

If you are like me and want to know all details go on line and google Garmin 235 set up. I would start with a Garmin produced video or item and take it from there.......well that’s what I AM going to do soon ..........

I have this one too 😊 You can get the Garmin Connect app on your phone/online which gives you various statistics about your runs, including maps, and you can auto sync with Strava too. I do both. Garmin Express is the syncing tool for uploading tailored workouts, updates etc, that's the one where you'll need to connect your Garmin to your computer with a cable.
Will I need to download Garmin express on my laptop or will it connect to it automatically when i plug it in?.
I charged mine last night on my usb port thats built into one of our plug sockets in the kitchen so I haven't plugged it into my lap top yet.
I'll be honest, I can't remember! I've had wee Garmo (for that is his name) for a year now so his origins are a bit blurry. But it should be easy to track down from the Garmin website if it's not automatic. And both programmes/apps step you though the syncing process (just a case of selecting the 235 in a drop down menu, that sort of thing) so you should find it all pretty straightforward.

Haha I saw that in the amazon sale too, but decided that I couldn't really justify it. I was really coveting one though!!

Should be able to download instructions, but, just play with it pressing the buttons after fully charging ...
