Hello all, newbie here. Hated running, would never do it. Avoided treadmill like the plague however.......gym days decreased, weight crept on, didn't have time (nor inclination) to go to gym once hubby was home for the boys...it's a vicious circle. Came across the couch to 5k thing last Sunday night and there I was at 6am on the Monday running! Me - running??? Did it all again yesterday and it's on the agenda for tomorrow. Find my first 'run' of the podcast the hardest...then I seem to settle into it. I've got wee sore legs but that means I'm working them right? Feeling good that tomorrow is my last run of week 1 and I'll actually have done it. I'll have week 1 in the bag. I'm kinda liking it too - bonus!

Well done! The first steps have been taken and if you're enjoying it that's a real bonus at this stage. Keep going and you'll soon see real benefits. Many of us started out like you and haven't looked back!
Hi and welcome🙂 Are you doing 'Couch to 5k' or 'Bridge to 10k'? If it's the first, then do pop over to the Couch to 5k forum where many will be at the same stage as you. Lots of us from here still post there but you will find more who you can share the journey with! It's a great journey - good luck🙂
