My friend is now approaching 19k nearing Tower Bridge, am so proud of her!😊

We were at the Southampton marathon today and I am in awe of all of those runners facing 26.2 miles. They are made of amazing stuff. I would certainly like a bit of their grit, determination and fitness. Hope your friend does well. We saw 3 runners carried off at the half way point, all disappointed but will be ok.

Yes, watched a few guys getting carried along, one especially bad with legs buckling, my friend got round and did well, thanks..You can do the Southampton Marathon next time😊

Glad your friend did well. As much as I admire these marathon runners, I am sure my legs are far too short for such distances!! I am toying with the hm distance, possibly, maybe, one day......
