Well it's that time of year again. On Monday the ballot opens. Who is going to have a go to get in?

That is so what I am doing. As the event approached this year I thought thank goodness I didn't get a place I couldn't do possibly have run it- but then I think well my whole running the last few months would have been different so who knows - I think I do tho if I am honest.

Yes, I will be giving it a go too - how could I not? Chances are slim but you never know! Sunday was so inspiring😀

My friend ran the marathon, I tracked her around the route on the Virgin website, she completed it in sub 5hrs, which she had hoped for, and for a good cause.

Me, I couldn't get my head around a marathon, what with all the training, I think a 10ks about my limit..😊

I just enjoy travelling vicariously with those who can !

Way too much training for a marathon. But you could do a half marathon and then walk the rest (and probably get in under 7 hours?)

Yes, I will enter it I will fail as always but I will try. (although as I have already entered Brighton I will no doubt get a place this year and have to run them both a week or so apart!)

My friend first time of entering the ballot got in this year, lucky sod!

I entered the last two years without getting in, and I will enter the ballot again this year. I don't expect to get in.

So I'm humming and hah-ing about which other spring marathon to book, to be sure to have a good reason for training over the winter. Trying to make up my mind between Paris and Edinburgh.

No me! I am working to run more of my HM and get my time under 3hours this year. I am not sure if I will every get up to FM but I am sure London is far too busy for me. So definitely a No for me.

Good luck to those entering 😺
