Initially went to do 10K..... turned into something I never expected!!

Initially I went out with the intention of doing 10K ,did in 42:11 and I did back off to walking pace on just two hills. But I thought to myself,"got a bit more in me,why stop there?!" (you all know how mad I can be at times!) So,I decided to go to the full 60 minute mark, non stop and what do you know....

14.2K in an hour!!! Which is 8.8 miles in old money!! 😨😮😊😊😊😊😁 I really don't know where I pulled THAT from!! #veryproudsparky

Wow! You're so speedy! I would need to be in the car to go that fast. :)

I would need a racing car :)

A mix of uphill and downhill, wondering if the more downhill at the end scrubbed some time off? Or was it just the right cold, dry, sunny conditions I love? Reckon a bit of both :)

Gulp! You're nearly twice as fast as me! All I would see is your back sparkling off into the distance. You are obviously made to run and that's fantastic!

Right serious face on here for mrsparkles32. With that distance its time to consider building up to 13.1 miles and booking a half marathon race later on in the year.

Well done on that run, your young and fit and you can really push yourself.

try to do at least one long a week to build things up, don't think you need to worry about the speed.

I was just browsing and stumbled across your graduation post from 3 months ago where you finished 5 km in 29:46. And today twice the distance in 42:11. Wow, that is a huge speed increase. Tremendously impressive!!

That's an incredible time, well done! My best 10K is 54 minutes so it knocks spots off me.
