Out in the rain this evening with my trusty Kalenji run light, pounding the local pavements after a busy week at work! I love how the day's stresses slowly fall away as I find that rhythm and lose myself a little in my run. Today, for the first time in ages, I listened to Kate Bush's 'Lionheart' album and decided I must take more old favourites with me on my runs! My only complaint being that the album didn't last as long as the run! Home 6.5k later and now planning for my long run on Sunday. (Hoping for another 11/12 miles, all being well) Hope everyone enjoys their runs this weekend🙂🏃🏽‍♀️😀

Me too! I was genuinely heartbroken when I couldn't get tickets to see her live concert a couple of years ago!😦

Confession time.... I actually turned down a complimentary ticket It was a silly decision but I was so sure she'd announce another at a more manageable time for me I let it go, figured someone else would have a better chance of using it. One of the few regrets in life I will never get over

Agh!! My sister (who was not working on the morning of ticket sales), had our tickets in her virtual basket when the system crashed - we lost them! As huge, lifelong fans we were both devastated!😢...I never got over it either!!

The only thing that consoles me is remembering how awful Kim Wilde was live compared to her vids. I doubt Kate would ever fail in that respect but maybe sometimes it is better to keep the mystique intact

thanks Sandra! jut had my macaroni as is traditional pre race day! its going to stay dry and the wind has dropped so thats good
