Ron hill breaks his running streak

Ron hill has taken a day off because of illness. I wonder if anyone will have a streak like his again.

He had surgery on his feet in that time too (bunions not a running injury)

An amazing guy and always ran before surgery so gave him a bit longer to recover before running again the next day.

He had ran 1 mile on Saturday and felt his heart wasn't right, I guess it has to not feel right in a very bad way to make him not run on the Sunday, hope it he is well again now.

I say we all go buy some Ron Hill running clothing now! in his honour of course.

If you want to support him then the brand to buy is Hilly. He sold the Ron Hill company years ago.

Great man! I have Ron Hill running trousers & hat, but doesn't make me run every day. I think he stopped for sleep though! 😁

Amazing isn't it. I read on one of the other links that he ran with his leg in plaster for 6/52 - bet the orthopods loved him.

Ah what a trooper ! Every day for 52 years , its a good job he had his own running gear , imagine the vests and trousers he mustve got through .

I bet Mrs Hill was saying " Oh Ron ! Youre not going out again are you ? You went yesterday !! " Ha ha xxx
