We've just signed up for a 10k running gin tour in London. It's like they designed it for me. I'm running with 6 other friends who are gin / running enthusiasts including my husband.
This will definitely help me to focus on training and get me out on these dark, wet nights !!
What other running combinations would you like?

Sounds like a lot of fun -- not sure these would be suitable for me - bit hard to know just where I fit in - there seems to be a big gap between "beginners" doing run/walk - and the slowest "runners" being 10K in 1 hour 15 mins. I can do a bit better in a 10K race than 1hour 15 mins - but that is a "RACE" !!
I think you're right Bazza1234 . We've gone for 'steady' (the 1hr 15) in the hope that, with a bit of training, it'll feel more like a run than a race. We have all sorts running from my friend who did the dopey run in Florida (5k, 10k HM and marathon in 4 days) to a friend who's just about to do her first parkrun
What a great idea, looks like a lot of fun. I really like the idea of combining the running with a sight seeing tour, but I'm with Oldfloss on the champagne....I'm not fussy, I'd do that for prosecco....๐
This weekend, we stayed at a hotel near the London Eye and did an early morning run/ sightseeing tour, taking in Whitehall, Buckingham Palace, Green Park - in the rain ! No gin, but still enjoyed it ๐
