Getting back after christmas

Finally I am donning my trainers again although rather slowly. Quite a contrast to my last pre Christmas run of 7.8km with a new 5k pb. Post Christmas I managed parkrun 5k on new years eve in 36 mins and a paltry 2 miles today in 25 minutes. Why so slow......well that would be the 7 year old in tow! Finally the kids go back to school tomorrow as I have a 10k to chase, yippee!

Well done for getting back out there, even with a youngster in tow! Good luck with getting to 10k 😀

Thanks Biscuit, I am certainly trying my best!! Hoping to get out again on Thursday without additional extras lol.

Ha, ha I thought you were going to say that too much Christmas food was to blame for the time/distance!

Well the extra food doesn't help lol. Trying to get back to normal eating and exercise now but need some motivation!
