My Christmas Eve got a boost earlier when I so very nearly hit 5k in 30 minutes, I was just 12 seconds over. Not sure I’ll get a Christmas Day run in, had to get it in early!!

Thanks re. The 5k... frustratingly close! I need a route without gates in the way, I had a couple to negotiate which cost me precious seconds!! Weird thing is that no aches today which I normally would get after a tempo run. I guess I must be getting fitter!

Different for us this year mum isn't well, has dementia age 72, good mental health, but health has deteriorated, so we didn't think she would manage the stairs, as we don't have a downstairs toilet, so I hurriedly cooked it all earlier and we came down with it and dessert and her pressies. Still here now, but it's nice to sit with her and not do anything, these are precious moments Neil. Sorry, didn't intend to rattle on there haha 😂
