Very HARD one today at my weekly parkrun - Summer has arrived with a vengeance here so it was almost 30C (86F) at 7AM. I knew it would be for me a matter of trying to hold on to the end - 33 mins 42 secs.

I find it so hard running in the heat I can't do Parkrun in the summer.....I need to be out the door by 5:30 am at the very latest....you still churned out a good time though 😄

Mega congrats, great time! Phew, that's pretty warm! Whereabouts are you, if I may ask, Bazza?

Ah ha, so your summer to our winter. Great people, the Aussies!

Well done Bazza, I haven't yet had the experience of running in heat. I thought I was going to hate running in the cold, but so far I have enjoyed my wintry wanderings. Well done for getting through to the end, and in good time for the prevailing conditions. :-)

30c - phew - and I guess you didn't even run at 7AM, so probably much hotter when you were out there! Well done for completing the run under those circumstances! Stay hydrated :-)

We do run at 7AM in Queensland - in Summer we all wish it was 6AM as the sun rises around 4:30AM so it is getting quite hot now during the parkrun :(

By way of contrast, ours was cancelled due to icy paths!

I was in London for Christmas 2010 and it snowed heavily - couldn't imagine running on those icy streets!!!

Not sure I could cope with the heat that you have to run in Bazza - I am built for Northern Ireland weather! :) Parkrun was cancelled but me and my other half ran it anyway - tip toeing over the frostiest bits :)

Too hot Bazza. Far too hot. I admire the efforts of the runners. Even walking it would be uncomfortable.
