Really enjoyed my first chance to meet a HU buddy IRL - Tasha99 ! We were visiting family so decided to join in the local parkrun. It is set in a beautiful park.
Everyone made us so welcome and me and my sister we’re both pleased with our efforts in the park run.
Thanks Middlesbrough, we’ll be back!

What a lovely photo of the three of you Oldlady64, I met Tasha99 and GTFC back in August at Drumpellier parkrun, Tasha as you found out today and GTFC are the nicest people you could ever meet, 🏃🏾👍glad you enjoyed the parkrun as well 🏃🏾 👍
I am keeping very well thank you Tasha, today I had a PB at Dunfermline parkrun in a time of 31.35, a week tomorrow, 27th November I am going to run a Half Marathon, I have walked/ran that distance already two times, but the first time was mostly walking with only a little running, the second time, two weeks ago I was only 500 metres short of HM distance as I never intended to run it that day, it was meant to be only a ten miles run.
yay, glad the 'Boro ' welcomed you!!! Im originally from Teesside (although Ive been away since 1989 I still call it home!) so that's near my part of the world. I usually do the Redcar Parkrun in Locke Park when Im visiting visiting friends and they are a brilliant and friendly bunch too. Lovely to try different Parkrun's isn't it .😀🏃♀️
Yep they really are. I'm from that area originally and hopefully will be moving back there within the next couple of years! I was really pleased that they were, as my current Park run at Boston are a brilliant crowd. Makes such a difference doesn't it. 😀
