Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going, sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If your a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.
Wishing you all a happy healthy week.

Must run more. I'm getting one run a week in but I would like to make it more and my swimming has gone into hiding somewhere, so my arms are getting flabby again. As all my school report cards used to say must try harder! 😏.
My running has come down to near once a week recently, as being preoccupied with slinky's condition and operation, I like to keep up the Parkruns (am after a red shirt) it's good motivation and I've ordered my apricot long sleeve Parkrun t shirt, hope to receive it later this week. Am getting out to run midweek, and just occasional spin on my stat bike, but I think I need to get back to 3 times a week, now slinky's well on the mend and back to work hopefully in just over a weeks time... 😏
Pleased that I ran 3 times in 6 days..only 30 minute runs as cold or dark or wet but feeling good and relaxed. Also pleased to still manage the non-stop runs after doing the walk/run training of B210k. Will try to keep this up..coming on here helps a lot. (Sorry if you get sick of me..😐)
I am still running 4 times per week - but no real race training plan happening at the moment. I am intending a 6 week driving tour around the UK in May/June next year - and there is a HM here in late April ( anything earlier than that will be too hot) so I will start to train for the long distance (again) around December. Will use a Galloway plan again for that.
In the meantime I am making my running a bit more "social" . I only am running one day per week by myself right now - on Tuesdays I do tempo based klm repeats around a running track for around 30 minutes ( plus 20 minutes of easy run to get there and back). On Saturday, I do parkrun - and either run slow and easy with someone in the back of the pack-- or at tempo pace for the whole 5K basically by myself ( it all depends on who is there and how I feel) . Thursdays and Sundays are my social running days - with a local club and a unofficial get together of local parkrunners. Sundays I generally run for about 60 minutes with a slow older group - and on Thursday I run with whoever is the slowest of a bunch of "hot shots" with a view to keeping up for as long as I can and then stopping and walking back when I am "done"
Didn't want to put on an individual post but I have been dying to tell you all, I got a PB at Saturday's parkrun. Cutting 53 seconds off my time!! Sorry if it's a bit showy-offy, but so chuffed. The time was 32:11, not bad for an oldish, new runner! I've got my sights on a sub 30 minutes, but that might take a while to get to.
I would love to run under 30 minutes, I think we can do it AnneDroid ! 😀
After two weeks of making excuses for not exercising (too cold, too wet, to windy, to tired, too busy - you know the ones) I finally got on the treadmill at the gym today and did the Stepping Stones podcast with Laura. Walked for some and ran some but feel sooo much better in my head now I have got back to running. Feeling enthused but wishing the weather would improve as I would much rather be running outdoors!!
I'm still fighting off Anneflu. But I'm off tomorrow and as I am sure I'm on the mend, I'm really hoping to venture out for a run, if I can remember how to do it.
just back from an injury to the ribs (3 weeks ago I fell and cracked a bit my ribs - this is what the doctor said). I had to stop for about 2 weeks and then started very slowly. I ran twice last week and managed twice already this week.
The rib is still a bit painful, but it's fixed, now I need to find myself back on track in terms of motivation and running at 6am in the dark and cold winter mornings...
I generally stop running in the winter (November to January) as I cannot keep it up so 3 times a week would be great!
I will aim to finish the year over 1,400 miles, but I am still 110 miles away - feasible in normal condition, challenging over winter...
