Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going, sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If your a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.
Wishing you all a happy healthy week.

Yes, I seemed to have lost some energy, maybe the time of year with the cold weather coming in?recently my runs have come down to 1x5k a week and maybe a walk...not even been having a spin at home, keep forgetting to jump on the bike! Slight loss of mojo? Maybe it's under the couch!😁 I'll have to give myself a kick!..😳
Quick update on the Christmas Eve virtual team parkrun: we have forty runners pledged to do this up to now, absolutely brilliant. If anyone else wants to join us take a look at the pinned post about it .
The Christmas parties are starting tomorrow so no running club this week. I hope to get out for a run on Thursday as it's promised to be a bit warmer 😀.
Yes - the various Christmas parties are getting in my way right now - I "WAS" going out for a run pre-dawn this morning - only to have a quite violent thunder and lightning storm happen at 4:30 AM, just on Dawn. Very unusual to have such things in the morning here - they usually happen at the end of the day
Week 1 of the Sami Murphy plan completed - but not with any style! I found the runs hard and had to walk a bit more than 1 minute before the final 10 minutes. I only graduated from C25k a couple of weeks ago, and thus feels like a Rerun of w6 which was so hard after the triumph of w5r3. I've seen commentary here that this programme is pretty tough so I'm taking it cautiously. I like having a bit of structure though because I'm still new to running and way too lazy to push myself. Also, have to get the use out of my flash graduation ASICS!!
Really struggled today. It was raining and very windy but that didn't bother me as it's warmer than a couple of weeks ago. I dropped the podcast and thought I'd give Spotify Running a go. It was supposed to be picking tracks I like. Failed miserably. I did a short run which I'm happy with. Pace was ok. I think I shall go back to Laura on my ancient MP3 player and continue with the C25K+ podcasts for a while. I need a program to follow.
That happens....I like structure too...I have tried just having Strava & music but I do miss Mr Smooth interrupting my thoughts every so often....stick with the podcasts if they work for you 😉
