Thinking I need some leggings for the cold months ahead. Bit of a shock this morning to say the least. Going to run a local 5km Parkrun too this Saturday at Lyme Park

Morning' all! Waiting for my gear to dry so that I can go out for a run tonight. Until then, procrastinating by reading about everybody else's running. Like you do on a Monday.

Hi RFC, my plan calls for 18k this week 2x 5k and and an 8k - The greatest weekly distance I will have run for a very long time. Given my propensity for getting injured, I'm a bitanxious about it, but no pain no gain. Just have to promise myself that I'll definitely stop at the very first hint of trouble. Wish me luck xx

Good luck with the distance increase AncientMum and I agree with Tanethra it may be time to get sone full length tights for winter. I only have my cropped tights and the size 16 track suit trousers I started c25k in - I'm more of a 10-12 now - luckily they have drawstrings! Hoping to get 2 mid week runs in this week - tonight and maybe Friday a.m. I'm trying to get back into doing 3 runs/week after feeling like everything was getting on top of me over the past few weeks :o :)

Thanks Ruth. Think you're right about the long tights. I started wearing my long tights last week when my capris were in the wash and I'm glad I did. Cold muscles are more prone to injury (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) misswobble recommended Nike Filament tights to me ages back and they're great -cosy and they wash well. :)

Sounds like a good reason to me! Saw a runner in shorts and tshirt today. Brrr!
