Anyone else feeling a little fresher on their runs now that summer is showing signs of slipping away? Cool, breezy and a little wet this afternoon when I set out on my 10k after a day of rain. My trails were muddy and the fields were wet and I 'bravely' tackled a couple of hills (slowly but surely😮). But the best bit was the noticeable effect of running in milder temperatures and feeling that I still had fuel in the tank at the end - being able to push myself a little in that last km! Today, was a good day to run!🙂🏃🏻. Next weekend I am planning a 14/15k (that's as accurate as I get, I'm afraid!) as part of my 10 mile training. Hope it's cool then too!
