Yesterday I did my longest run ever of 11 miles (17.7k) in a charity event. It was a bit of the spur of the moment thing But it proved that the training is already put in and the intervals are paying off. I got to 9 miles before my legs started to give out. So I had to run/walk the last 2 miles but it was definitely more running than walking, and enough for a sprint finish outside Cardiff Castle in the end. Just gutted I accidentally deleted the stats off my Garmin at the end in error! 😳
Still amazed I did it, I have a half marathon in 4 weeks and I know I can complete the course now. Onwards & upwards 😊

Well done on that fab achievement! Bad luck on the loss of data cos its the kind of thing its good to look back on for inspiration when having a bad running day!
