Hi, I completed the couch to 5k programme a couple of weeks ago and now working towards being able to run 10k. Managed 6k this morning so feel like I am slowly moving forward. I find following everyones progress really motivating😊.

They say if you can run 5k you can run 10k with a bit of training. So you'll be there in no time! I took about 6 weeks, but had sore shins afterwards and went back to shorter runs, building up slowly. Have now done 3 x 10k and been faster every time, with no leg problems. Been improving slowly since graduation, although I'm making big leaps at the moment - which is very nice! See how long it lasts.
Well done on 6k - happy running!
