My calves were sore on Monday which kept slowing me down, Wednesday I managed a steady 3k without stopping with a little discomfort. Today, I went to Race for Life at Stamford. First 3k was pretty uncomfortable and I even thought about sliding off with the 5k runners. Made myself keep going and once I got to 5k, felt pretty good and ran and ran some more. Even managed a sprint 10k finish and could perhaps have gone further! Feeling encouraged because I plodded past a few people younger than me so I put that down to having a good steady pace and running regularly. Legs feeling a little tight but will rest up. Half Marathon in September 😦💥💥
