Thinking of getting a weighted vest, not a really expensive one, any suggestions of the best place to get one or the best make?

I got mine at WalMart. Very reasonable price. They had two weight options, 8 pounds and 12 pounds.

If you live in the UK they’ve got some for £9.99 in Lidl

Hi well I use the NYKweightvest see online its made for women with osteoporosis - no weights over the bustline . But most of the ones out there are for muscle men too heavy and weights over the chest so no good for women. Also most are really expensive mine was relatively inexpensive - many are 250.00 mine was only 89.00 usd so its not bad

hope that helps.

hyperwear.com/blog/weighted...

The best because the weights are very small and you can build up the weight carried slowly and safely. Not "stylish" but comfortable, completely adjustable. Expensive compared with others but you'd never need to replace it.

I have used the hypervest for several years. If it is fitting you properly you will not be hurt. I find mine very comfortable, like a gentle hug, actually! The weight is distributed evenly over the torso, so no pulling on the shoulders. Yes, I am female.

Well if it makes you feel any better I wear it under a coat or jacket or, in the summer, only indoors. But I wouldn't wear the one you like in public either!

I have the hyperware vest. Just paid the price. The big benefit is that it has a lot of little weights, each about an ounce. This means you can carefully balance the load and increase or decrease the amount of weight you are carrying by really small amounts.

I think the problem with say two to four weights is that you could over balance and fall.

VERY expensive and funny looking!
