I have the hyper pro as suggested by Margaret. It is really comfortable and there are lots of little weights, so you can increase slowly without the danger of overloading yourself.

Hi angie26, Amazon can send one to your door. About £140. But it's an investment. (Sorry, couldn't resist... ) There are cheaper ones. I looked at a few, and went with the one HeronNS recommends from her own use of it. For me, the expense is justified. I won't dare waste it. I find it easy to wear because it is designed to fit close to the body where the most benefit is gained from the weight. The fabric is extremely light and stretchy. Sizing is important - you need it to fit closely but not so tight that it restricts your breathing. (Good advice from Heron to get size up if you fall between sizes.) There are 7 weights to one pound weight and they slip into tiny pockets. It comes with 10lbs of weights, but I have fitted 2.5 at the moment, and worn it round the house. (I only got it yesterday). There are some negative reviews online about the pockets splitting. I wasn't put off. It could be a user problem, related to vigorous sport or placing the weights without enough care. If you decide to have one, and order online, be careful accepting it from the delivery person, because even though you know it comes with 10lbs of weight, it's a surprising lot to take with arms outstretched.

I have used a hypervest for several years. Highly recommend it. Expensive but definitely worth it, and it's a one time purchase.

thank you, there are so many out there and it's not easy to buy online beacuase of fit etc.

I ordered on line direct from the company which is in Texas. They answered questions about size when I happened to land exactly on the line between two sizes on their little chart (they told me to get the next size up). Presumably if you're in UK or Europe best to order from Amazon or similar, but you can still get all the info you need from the company before you order.

OTvest looks like "normal" attire so can be worn anywhere, and the weights press down on the body which is important for osteoporosis instead of hanging and only pulling down, so less weight is necessary. otvest.com/osteoporosis/
