Hi Foxglove. Is vesicare not solenfenacin. I know some on this forum who do take both. Has it been prescribed by your GP. I am still on Solifenacin 5mg. Though putting up with side effects because it works quite well. Unfortunately I suffer anxiety and it has caused my digestive problem. Which is so unpleasant. Had it a few times since my 40s. This time taking a while to settle. I hope you are finding the two work for you.

I'm getting on fine with both, and also taking uroz(herbal) which has good reviews and can be taken wit docs' script meds. Last gp visit she mentioned botox if meds don't help . Oh dear doesn't seem to be any answer that actually works. However I'll try to be positive and plod on. Trouble is ALL meds have to be taken for at least 8 weeks to see it they help...and patience not my middle name!

I was offered Botox but can cause inability to wee. Might need catheter. Told this by my NHS physio that I see monthly. So think no do not want this. Hope the meds work for you , have the tens machine been suggested to you.

Have you thought of the tens machine which is placed on your leg and an electrical currant runs to the sacral nerve which controls the bladder. I have one and do use it but am down for the hospital one which uses an acupuncture needle and is more or less the same sending electrical currant to the sacral nerve. Long waiting list though. I’ll try anything , not Botox though lol. Hope the solenfanacin works , it does for me but don’t want to be on it for ever.
