Has anyone had a rigid cystoscopy (male) under local anesthesia and what was your experience?

I'm soon scheduled to undergo a rigid urethrocystoscopy under local anesthesia (gel), so I'm interested in the experiences of male patients who have had this type of examination.

I had it a couple of years ago but was knocked out, I am guessing you would not feel it because since mine I have had to use a catheter on myself once a week to keep things open, I was dreading inserting it in but you don’t feel it. Have you had lithotripsy done to break up stone?
