Blood thinners and haemorrhoids

Bit embarrassing. Is it only me who is struggling (has struggled) with haemorrhoids not healing due to the blood thinning medication I'm on?

Nightmare. I'm on OTC cream but will contact my Dr for some thing stronger. Its been a couple of weeks now.

I had terrible piles after a HA 5 years ago. I bought all the usual stuff from the chemist and got it under control but you must avoid constipation at all costs. Senacot and glycerin suppositories are my friends. I also have Diverticular problems and a failed bowel retrocel op which doesn’t help. No help from gp, I have only managed to see him once in 4 years. Good luck, these things are sent to try us!

I don't have constipation thankfully. Sometimes the opposite.

Any embarrassment is left at the door of this forum! I had it as well and otc products didn't stop it. So I spoke to my GP who prescribed Uniroid which solved it. Good luck and hope it works for you as well.

yes can relate . Piles diverticular and rashes on bum bleeding are very common on blood thinners.

VelvetSky i agree usually with me i flip between constipation and loose motion. Loose motions burn like hell.

im surprised they haven’t already, mine usually gets back to me by end of day.
