Low BP and more fluids

Hi. Since I haven’t filled in my profile yet I’d better fill in a few details here.

I had breast cancer 4 years ago+ Mastectomy, chemo and Herceptin. I now have moderate HF with low EF caused by treatment. I am being treated with Ramipril and Carvedilol. I have no symptoms. But now my BP tends to drop from time to time making me light headed. If I drink (quite a lot)of water it goes back up again. I don’t know how much water I should be drinking.

I have only seen my Cardiologist twice …..last time he waved me off saying ‘See you in 6 months ‘ That was over 2 years ago….thanks of course to Covid. I haven’ t had any Echos either.

I should add I’m78 so not a priority. But what should I do in the meantime? Is everyone in the same boat ?

Comments and advice very welcome !
