I’ve just got insurance with a similar condition. Try Travel Insurance Saver. Cheapest I saw was £136 which for a year for Europe plus multiple visit seems cheap.

Ours was that for a week, but it was only six weeks and a day after his second procedure. Think I just panicked and took first one. I will look at these if we go away again. Ours was with All Clear

I would urge everyone to carefully check T&C's to ensure that the cover is adequate for their needs. Cheapest is not always best but then then the most expensive may not be either.

Also with variations in age and medical conditions in is not easy to compare your quote with another person's. Generally the greater the period between treatment and travel, assuming no issues, the lower the premium. Anyone under investigation or awaiting treatment will generally be quoted a high premium or have unacceptable exclusions written in.

Many cheaper and expensive companies share the same underwriter - the ones who call the shots

Hi

My previous travel company also dropped me like a stone in June when I informed them I'd had 3 stents put in after a mild heart attack. I was booked to go to Majorca and also love skiing so got annual cover at Allclear. They were really helpful. Hope you get sorted.

Hi that sounds quite good , my first quote was 1400 for single trip, I tried lots and they all quote differently went with Avanti and pay approx 670 for annual cover

Suggest you try as many as possible there is a list online

Travel insurance is a must-have thing on a trip as better safe than sorry. Personally I prefer buying insurance. The choice depends on many factors, and first of all, on money you are ready to pay for it. I can recommend to look through the travel insurance sites on travelsites.com/travel-insu... . You can find many great offers there. And it is convenient to compare them on one site. I hope you will find this info to be useful!
