I am flying to Cyprus in a couple of weeks time and am looking for a travel insurance. EasyJet is very reasonable but am concerned that they haven’t asked any health questions. Has anybody used them?
Thank you for your help.

Find a comparison website offering travel insurance with pre existing medical conditions and go from there. We are all different and insurers assess the risk differently. Or try your local insurance broker. Answer all questions honestly.
Thank you all so much for your help. The last time I flew I was with AllClear and it cost £1297. It was expensive but covered annual multi trips and Coronavirus. I am hoping to find something less expensive but unfortunately since then I’ve had a heart attack and a biopsy yesterday on what they originally thought was a keratosis. I get the result during my holiday via FaceTime. I obviously will need to tell them this.
I shall get on the case tomorrow and will keep you posted.
Thank you so much again for your help.
Looking at your bio it seems you might have a lot of health issues. Easy jet certainly won't cover existing issues.
Go online and try "justtravelcover.com" You will be asked a series of question then you will get a number of quotes on screen. Interested to hear what quotes you get and how it compares to a standard Easy jet cover.
We got insurance with staysure. They ask loads of health questions and cover pre existing conditions. There are a few posts on this website with recommendations for other providers if you search travel insurance.
For us, it was about £70 for one weekend in Madrid. My husband has a long list of heart issues so it was bound to be expensive. We are considering buying a worldwide annual policy if we have the money next year. You can pay it off monthly. Worth it if you’re doing a few trips.
We have just been to Cyprus with Newmarket Holidays. We flew by EasyJet, but had insurance with Holiday Extras, recommended by Newmarket.
I was a travel agent for forty years. I've seen first hand the expense and stress thst people suffer if not insured for their health issues. I once had a client who was hospitalised in USA with a £20k bill .
Use a Compare site, answer ALL questions honestly and you'll see a range of quotes. As an example, I just got a new policy with Puffin: 1 year, only Europe, £305 . My condition is stable angina, no intervention, taking statin, ramipril, aspirin. Age 71.
I am with Staysure and they cover a wide range of pre-existing conditions. For me, it is definitely on the pricier side but at least you have peace of mind if you do need to use it whilst abroad. Remember to declare all of your current medical investigations as well otherwise this may invalidate your health insurance policy.
Enjoy your time away.

Hi try Avanti excellent service and very reasonable on price.
The previous replies to your query are all relevant and valid. I would just like to add that you really should have got appropriate insurance relating to your medical condition before you booked the holiday. Make sure that any insurance that you get now will cover all eventualities. An acquaintance of mine failed to do this, had a pull in Spain and ended up with a bill of £17k.
CedarTree are brilliant. Underwritten by AXA.
I would just urge to take care with AXA. Have ongoing issues relating to a claim with them and it seems from research that this is very common.
