My son has plaque psoriasis on his feet and has been dealing with this for almost 20 years, I'd love to hear what other people are doing to treat this condition.

Plaque Psoriasis
I have had scalp psoriasis since I was 17, now 50, off and on until I had my last child 14 years ago. It had not let up at all since then for any remission. Two years ago, I took all sugar and grains out of my diet and added more healthy fat. In addition to losing 30 lbs, I realized my psoriasis is gone. It took about 1-1/2 yrs to see improvement, but what I think got rid of the last bit was using Sorion cream, which I ordered from Amazon. I used it all over my scalp 2-3 times a day (it was a little messy) for about 3-4 weeks. It was to be a combination of those two things. I don’t use the cream anymore, but still keep the diet, and there is no sign of the psoriasis.
I take acitretin. It heals my feet so they are about 50% better but they are thinning my hair.
I have also had prednisone When they were really bad but because I had 4 lots in a year they have caused osteoporosis.
So swings and roundabouts I’m afraid.
I also am dealing with this. For me it is both my hands and feet. It started for me about 3 years ago. It has been very frustrating. I can deal with pretty much anything but the itch it causes when not in control (still working on that) drives me crazy! There seems to be no way to calm it fir long. Ice packs and cold running water are really the only temporary relief.
I was on Humaria for a while but had to many issues on it so now on Cosentyx. Due to other issues even that med has been a rough go though feel it will get me clear hopefully in another month or less.
I hope you find Some relief for your son.
