apprehension not needed

Strange old week. I’m still keeping my head down & trying to get on with thingsI had two outing this week that I was quite apprehensive about. One was a Xmas get together with the team (volunteer work) so I don’t know the ladies terribly well. They’re big family people so I knew the talk would be full of families getting together for Xmas. I was in quite a lot of tooth pain, got an emergency appointment with my dentist. What I thought would be a simple filling wasn’t at all 🙄. Spent the morning in the chair 😱. I’d broken half of my tooth & fracture the other half in two places which was touching a nerve, ouch.😣 Anyway I wasn’t able to make it to the dinner. Couldn’t eat or talk.

The next outing was tonight to see a show in London with girl friends. Thought again it’ll be lots of talk about Xmas. & they’d be lots of people around Christmas lights etc…. The show has been cancelled 😠 So all that overthinking things & worry was for nothing So note to self don’t worry about things they might never happen

Really sorry you had to go through such pain ouch!

But I must admit I am pleased it turned out that way, I know how much you were dreading it.

I thought you might get through the show but 😃 smiled when I read it had been cancelled.

So there you go, a word to self, listen to your own experiences! It’s not worth the worry.
