A little positivity goes a long way

when it comes to helping ourselves.

Grieving is something that doesn't just go away as we all know, but if we can try to find small positives in our lives, it helps.

I have started a different journal now for just this purpose, it doesn't have to be huge, it's the little things that help. The changing leaves of autumn, a little bird. something that has made me smile (even if that doesn't happen very often).

So please join me and let's continue this thread by posting one positive thing you have experienced each day.

Today, there are lots of parakeets in my garden, they make me smile! 🙂

getting the dog out half decent walks has helped me a bit.

That's good Kenny, I think walking, especially dog walking encourages you to go outside, and there's always a chance of a short chat too!

I remember you mentioning your dog wasn't too well, I hope he's okay now.

morning Chloe, I’ve been quite down these last couple of weeks due to an insensitive neighbour.

Positives : just on my way home from a fantastic break with my husband. We visited a castle & a maze got totally lost. Got chatting to two the other couples who were also lost. Had great fun. & following day visit to the sea, had a lovely long walk. Absolutely delicious lunch in quaint old town. Just what the doctor ordered. I’m back x

So sorry to read you've had a rough time due to neighbours, I empathise!

But there's no keeping you down Caza and I'm so glad you've spent time with your husband on a well deserved break <3

Today I experienced getting a good nights sleep. Most nights I'm up late or early for a comfort break. Today i sleep in till just before my getting up time. The one thing that helps me is my new Duvet. Never thought it would make such a difference. Looking forward to Winter to see what else I can conquer.
