A little upliftment goes a long way

Today, I went to a children Christmas Carol concert. It was so uplifting,

the effort of the little ones warms the heart and lifts the spirit, and I felt so much better for having gone.

That was followed by the second Christmas dinner in 2days phew, but lovely.

there’s nothing like children singing carols to cheer you. I went to a Christmas fete last Saturday & they had school children there singing carols lovely, went down well with a glass of mulled wine. No Christmas dinner for me this year. For the Christmas get togethers I’ve gone for steak

Amazingly that this year of all my guests coming for Christmas dinner there’s only one meat eater who has said not to get meat in for just them so full veggie house. I saw Jamie Oliver do a nice stuffed pumpkin the other day, might try that!

My grandson, 7 in January, is one of the 3 kings in his school nativity play today. He came out with the saddest thing at the weekend, having lost my dad in October. He doesn’t want to do a play about Jesus because he’s taken his great grampie from him🥲. Not a belief of mine but he came to this conclusion himself m . bless his heart.

But… the nice bits about Christmas, as you say children doing carols and plays, not forgetting the craft fairs.

Take care 🦊x

That's the thing with children they are more perceptive than we give them credit for!
