A hospice was recording patients life stories for their relatives, I thought this was wonderful!
I can also understand that some may not agree, what do you think?

it`s a great idea but one that obviously would be very emotional to begin with but once we get used to it it would be comforting hearing a loved ones voice.
I think it's a good idea, but yes emotional. I have a video on my phone of my mum talking to my little grandchildren. Its lovely as its wonderful to hear her voice again, but sad as well.I'm in it as well sitting in the background eating cake!😄
I think it is a wonderful idea. My Husband wasn't in any state to say anything before he died but I do have a recording of him breathing although laboured it is something I treasure. I also have photos of him after he died which helped me a great deal to be able to visibly see and understand that he was dead. Not for everyone but it helped me and still does. We take pictures of new born babies so after their journey through life a photo of them when they have died seems a natural process.
I have a couple of voicemail messages from my daughter Cathy to a friend of hers. I listen to them regularly. In fact I have saved voicemails of older friends in case they pass. Then I’ll have something to remember them by.
