Going to see my lovely friend in hospice but almost can't bear to go...

Am losing my close school friend of over 50years and dread going to the hospice as she is now only existing on morphine..this is not life...

Please pray for her and (me for strength) for her lovely son who is autistic and keeps exploding and for her husband who has had enough of his wife's suffering

Thank you all 💔...

Hello Bea61

Welcome to our Community.

I am so sorry to hear the news of your dear friend, this is such a sad time for you and her family.

I think you are wonderful visiting her in the hospice and I'm sure she will feel your presence, I know many who feel unable to visit in the last weeks of life and they have very much regretted not going. It's so important for her and you and you need to say your goodbyes, that doesn't have to be said allowed of course.

You've been such a dear supportive friend and I think many could take a leaf out of your book!

Take care and I will be thinking of you {{{hugs}}} and sending {{{strength}}} to het you through, do stay in stay.
