Today I am feeling strong and positive for the first time in a long while. I'm not quite sure why but I'm not going to worry about it, just embrace it. I hope I can share this positivity with some of my brilliant friends here. I hope you're with me. x

Glad to hear you're feeling strong and positive now. Your raise a good point about viewing how one feels. I usually think of myself as either overwhelmed or OK. I think I'll start by upgrading my OK to strong, then upgrading all the points between overwhelmed and strong. The one good thing I get from feeling periods of grief is that they are accompanied by strong feelings of closeness to my departed husband.
I'm hoping to keep my mind focused on positive thoughts and deeds but that's a good point you make jaykay about 'feelings of closeness when you're grieving' and that's really lovely, the problem is that I tend to dip lower, so I'm aware I need to grab positivity when it hits me.
