Itchy Feet

Hi,

Not sure quite what to do, I have had very itchy feet but not sure what is causing this. I have Behcets / Addisons and Dercums. I have tried antihistamine not sure if this is related to Behcets? Can anyone help please? It's only on the top of the feet and around the ankle area's has anyone else had this?

Hi Ali

I get itchy feet and hands mostly the tops. My rheumy tells me that it is part of the condition of BD. I find once I start itching I can't stop and it becomes very painful. It will settle. No meds work for me, however I have found ice cubes wrapped in a tea towel to place on the itch does help as well as wearing gloves and socks as much as possible. If I have to scratch I try to gently rub area as the scratching causes the blood vessels to burst.

If you can try not to get to hot as that can irritate the itching. Hope this a little help for you. Sadly it's trial and error with what works for flare ups of BD as no 2 treatments are the same.
