Believe it or not... try any shampoo, conditioner, or shampoo+conditioner two-in-one. WITHOUT ANY TYPE of PRO-VITAMIN!!! Most hair products now have that pro-vitamin. When I stopped using that...it calmed down the ulcers/symptoms dramatically! At this point I remember bring willing totry anything, it helped me, I hope it helps you

I was told that any shampoo, conditioner or bath product containing sodium lauryl sulphate would be bad for us with delicate skins/scalps etc. There are a number of products you can search for on the internet. I have stopped getting ulcers on my scalp, and now I do not itch after a shower or bath. The chemical causing the problem is a foaming agent, so these products do not foam quite so much, but they certainly clean well.
I really appreciated this post as I have struggled with these same issues. I am going to a dermatologist about it, but don't know how knowledgeable they are about Behcets disease. The part about all of this that I find most distressing is how overwhelming the urge is to pick at these abberations on my scalp. It just makes things worse. The symptoms seem to be worse when I'm really stressed out and subside when I'm not, but once the cycle is started it's hard to stop.
