30 years of misery

Hi. I have been suffering with burning down below for over thirty years. Use to get every April May and sometimes November seasonal. Had swabs take always comeback negative to everything. Went on a diet and never had for three years. Went menopausal I believe had blood test in October said I was not menopausal. Dieting stopped working I changed diet a little and started eating bread again on holiday last August. Now April May have the problem back again. One doctor said that my body overreacts to yeast. Other no explanation. I have had treatment for thrush fine for three days after. Treatment for bv fine for 48 hours then back to being uncomfortable never no smell or discharge. Feel like blood is running hot and have symptoms of athletics foot but none present. Help I am fed up. I have also started having hot flushes within the last week.

Dear Craftyser, I am sorry you have had this issue for such a long time. Were you ever referred to a gynaecologist or a sexual health doctor for assessment ? If possible I would attend a sexual health unit as they have the best and fastest tests for assessing your vaginal flora for BV and candida. If you are peri-menopausal we also need to consider conditions like low oestrogen levels in the vagina .
