Car insurance and antaxia

Hi everone can you eventualy have problems for car insurance with antaxia ?

I have à handicap badge for stationnement for antaxia no one said anything about driving

In England we have to tell DVLA about ataxia they get in touch with the doctors to see how bad you are. They have given me a 3 year driving licence then they will look at it again

Thankyou for your answer No médical personne i ve met apart from my neurologue they have never heard of antaxia ..i ve also have sociale service ladys come to assess my needs like home help ..they have not mentioned it .i ve also à handicap badge that my dr had to do a report and clearly wrote antaxia on thé paper xxx

I am awaiting (fingers crossed ! ) my 3rd three year restricted driving licence. My neurologist requests that I have a driving assessment each time. I send a copy of assessment to her then another copy to DVLA . It takes a long time for them to process application for renewal but it is worth it to maintain my independence and mobility.

🙂It’s likely that regulations may vary in France, If you still drive..check with your Neurologist that you are still safe to do so, and your insurance company may require you to declare a diagnosed medical condition.

Some times thé least said thé better ! ..my dr has never mentioned it and once another neurologue asked if i was OK driving i said yes i cant walk strait but i can drive .But i m not silly my boming up motor ways and heavy trafic thats finnished ! Where i live you can drive 25 kilomètres with out seeing any trafic lightd or road about i ll stick to going from Ato B mainly in thé morning ..i can get taxi ambulance for any médical rendez-vous and physiothérapie which are 30 kilomètres away thanks for your answer

Ps my driving licence is one for life , those funny paper ones not like thé New one that have to be changed every est 5 years x
