My Saga - Takes a Twist, Not Sure I like The "Twist".

Hi all.

Most of you will know my never ending saga with my Urology complaint.

I had my BCG treatment for my BC six treatments which started 14th march.

I got an appointment for a Cystoscopy which should have been today - Cancelled and another appointment for the 21st June,

So I had my pre op done on Monday, ECG, Bloods ect.

I was say in car today and my mobile rang, I answered and it was Urology telling me I had to go into hospital next Monday - 12th June.

I was shocked,after months of cancelled appointments - I wonder why after PR OP, why my op has been moved forward.

It's the same day Case Unit and I will be having 4 biopsies as planned. I just can't help wondering why they have brought me forward?

One thing has not changed - they to my experience know how to shock.. Getting fed up with the all change. it could be good, it may not.

Maybe somebody looked at your file and thought wow we shouldn't have neglected this guy, better get him in quick, or maybe they had a cancellation and thought we have messed this man around long enough. Whatever the reason Ern it can only be a good thing, fingers crossed for Monday, sending positive vibes x

pharmacist at surgery decided i needed some bloods taking as dodgy leg playing up, and that was agreed the district nurse would phone as it might be a fortnight before she could come. Then phone rang she and was already outside house all within the hour ! my dental appointments have been changed but hospital remains next year . that gives it plenty of time to move appointment back and forth .

I have had multiple cancelations during last 30 months, this is the first time brought forward very strange.

Hi Ern, hopefully as others have said it's due to a cancellation and all the changes you've had to deal with. Be good to get it done and dusted anyway. All my best wishes for a quick result. Keep us posted. Take care 🙂xxx
