Let's home it happens on the 8th, im sure you aren't looking forward to surgery but understand their need to confirm whether or not BCG has worked before moving to the next step. Really feel for you Ern and will be thinking of you. P
Hi Ern, sounds like a very complex diagnostic op -but be good to get it done. Everything crossed that it's a better outcome than you're expecting 🤞🤞❤️xxx
Finally managed to catch up, now going tomorrow to see my special consultant who knows about my rare condition PCD. Hope op goes well and result is better than predicted. Jean x
Yes there are only 4 main PCD centres in uk, where have equipment and specialists to identify condition. I had to travel to children’s dept at Leicester Royal Infirmary to have tests few years ago that confirmed that I’d lived with PCD for 84+ years. Children born with PCD usually died, and I’m lucky to have survived, particularly during war. My mother lived to nearly age 112, so I have good genes! Good luck and best wishes. Jean x
Good on you - That's some story. My father died at 73, my mother at 60 with COPD - I have outlived them all despite what conditions I have. Thank you wish you well with your consultant x
