Thank you dear online friends for support given to me,
I had my Op Tuesday and compared with last time, it was much easier. My team was outstanding.
My anaesthetist who remembered me from last time, gave me a new quick acting drug, which meant a much quicker time to get my feeling back.
So after the op a Cystoscopy this time I had to wait for results. On consent form it was an Analytical Cystoscopy and possible TURBT ,
The later I have had is a longer stay as they cut away ant tumour. and that requires a longer stay.
In fact NO Tumour Found and this after near a year, so Immunotherapy in the Spring has helped,.
BUT.
They found a RED SPOT and being my cancer is aggressive - They did a biopsy to see if this was the start on a new tumour site,
If so they must have caught it early - I was told that due to this Red Spot I have to go to hospital on 28th December as my specialist would need to speak to me.
So to conclude my op went well - I have no tumour at the moment and my specialist is on the case of the biopsy, So really is decent news. I will know more on 28th December,
After affects of a Cystoscopy really are not good - I won't go into detail but, they are receding each day,
The who care from start to finish was outstanding,
Thank you all for reading my post and giving supportive comments and good wishes,
Thank You
I will leave you with a painting, a fantasy angel..

I'm so pleased to hear your news Ern, really great that there's no tumour. So I hope you continue to feel better as the days go by. Very best wishes to you, Peege
Hi, Ern. Haven’t said hello before but have been following your story and was rather worried about you with the despair of those cancellations. I’m SO pleased you’ve had the op now and are getting such great treatment. It’s all sounding very optimistic! I hope you can now have a nice Christmas knowing you’re seeing your consultant again straight afterwards and he’s definitely on the case
Thank you eleanordigby - Things look better. I am never going to be 100% clear being it's high grade but seems like my body is fighting back and that could be due the the immunotherapy treatment I got last February - I hope that will be confirmed on the 28th. Yes I am looking forward to Christmas. you are right, the cancellations and me having to cancel when I had COVID really was depressing more so when after i recovered, my surgeon cancelled because he had COVID - All done now though,,
Thank you ostiad - Just the 28th and anything that has been found, would not be overwhelming. Looks like I have been lucky. I wish you and your a happy Christmas x
Thank you - Does look better, I know it can return but after a year near, nothing to take away, and just a red spot. Much better than I though. Have a great Christmas.
