Cheerful and uplifting Ern. Thanks for sharing. Xxxβ€οΈ
Thank you Carole xxx
Love both of these Ern.i just popped in to see if you had shared a painting and rewarded with two >))I especially love the sea and seagulls.u paint water so well. Good to see the birds and spring bringing everything to life π₯°x
I love the sea view. I always wanted to live by the sea, not to swim in it, just to watch it, and I hate the way sand from the beach goes everywhere. Here I am, living on the outskirts of Birmingham, almost as far from the sea you can I get.
Thank you helen, I like the sea also, weather in UK or abroad when I was able, always chose a seaside resort - I can;t swim so that was not the reason. I live 17 miles from Southport and 28 miles from Blackpool. so distance is not a problem. I never thought of that before, Birmingham not near the north or Irish sea,
I spent my life until I was 18 and went to university, lining in Kendal, so the Lakes and the Fylde coast were my go to places.
The lakes, sounds good. The Fylde Coast is underestimated I think. Morcambe not far from kendal not the resort it was . I don't drive far these days and my youngest daughter drives Anne and me to Norbreck - Lovely beach scenes and near Blackpool for shopping. As a youngster Blackpool was the place to holiday for many who lived in Lancasire and lots from Scotland also.
Thank you, lot of light in spring and everything so fresh. Yea I like to paint hills pink or purple, I used to do all hills gray, I know which I like best xxx
Great paintings Ern.lovely cheerful views.
Yes me too.I am keen on photography. I have put one photo on here but I intend on putting more on.I do garden photography and our dog but we also go to Italy for about 8 weeks a year so there are plenty of photography opportunities there.
I posted a garden photo of a massive codyline in flower, gosh that was good and the scent - Hoever the flower stem so thick, I could not get it out, it rotted and with a very wet winter it died - Other that that and taking shots of mmy painting, I am not great with a camera, my youngest daughter is like you very keen.
Love the sea view, makes me feel calm and happy and longing for my holiday
Thank you Mopsey1897 - I like a few days away in July, always a sea side,
Weβre going to Looe in Cornwall in July for a week. Really lovely beaches
Both lovely paintings. I particularly love the way youβve painted the waves lapping against the shore. The colours are very uplifting too, Thank goodness Spring seems to have arrived. Thanks for sharing your lovely work.
Can just imagine being there...walking down that beautiful garden path...getting to the end...and there is that fantastic view of the sea.....so relaxing. π....luv it Ern007.
I like them both Ern. Birds, distant hills and a tree just coming into leaf. What's not to like. xxxx
A beautiful sea view and I could just imagine doing an Easter egg hunt in the other painting. Well done Ern, 2 beautiful pieces of art, thanks for sharing.
Take care
Wendy xx
I like them both equally vibrant colours and joyful
Lovely Ern, love the way you've captured the waves. x
Thank you Paperqueen - I like paintin Beach Scene,x
I love watching the sea and walking in the countryside. Great paintings.
where do you get the time from to do them all ern.their all good and cheery
Thank you islande - I am retired and just put my thoughts on canvas. π
Beautiful pictures. So tranquil.
Thank you for sharing, itβs so lovely looking at all your paintings.
you are going mad now. Doing two pictures. Very nice anyway.
Thank you Mavery - just 8x8 inches canvas though,
Ah tiny ones. What are you doing with them all. You could auction them off on here and give the money to Heath Unlocked whatever they call it now.
I see y our Idea mavery but, they would have to be sealed and varnished. Nt sure condition of a lot of them - I have sold a few but getting old
Oh thatβs a shame. I donβt know that a lot of people would worry about that.
I will have a think about it Mavery - A lot of painting I don't paint the sides, and not easy to do that later. Also I paint most on canvas and come on canvas board, canvas board is no use asa frame is needed. I will look what I have good enough and start using canvas - thenI need boxes and packing, but it may be doable,I willgive it a try when I know what is what.
Always happy and uplifting! Thank you!
Lovely spring colours Ern! I could just do with some time on that beach watching the waves right nowπ Iβd only be watching them though, as a non-swimmer π
